Can you hold my date?

Unfortunately, due to the popularity of certain dates and number of date requests, we are unable to "HOLD" your date.  To book your date, a contract must be signed and half down deposit received.

Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.

Can I use my own vendors?

Why, certainly! The Bowery welcomes event hosts to contract vendors they wish to use.  However, The Bowery has a full list of fantastic vendors on our PREFERRED VENDORS page.  Event hosts may find that these vendors offer discounts or special incentives for booking with them.  They are also familiar with our venue and know all the ins and outs of our facility to best cater to event hosts.

What other fees can I anticipate with the rental?

We believe that pricing should be straight-forward.  Weddings are expensive enough!  That's why you won't find any hidden fees with your rental.  What you see is what you get - no nonsense pricing...and indoor restrooms, heating/air-conditioning, and on-site parking come standard! (No port-a-potties here!)

Unlike many venues, we do not pass on up-charges for caterers - that's right. No 12-18% add-on fees here.  We have a few additional services that are provided à la carte for the convenience of our guests (event take-down service, additional lighting, camp fire), but they are completely optional.

Are you state licensed?  Yes, The Bowery has all state and local licenses & permits to operate as an event venue which means event guests are safe at our venue and we are legally able to operate.  We are also fully wheelchair accessible.

Can we have alcohol at our event?

Yes!  The Bowery does not hold a liquor license, so that means event hosts can bring in their own alcohol (a huge money savings!).  Event hosts are required to contract a licensed bar server who is authorized to serve alcoholic beverages and can provide a certificate of liability insurance to The Bowery (we can recommend a vendor if you need one).   In other words, alcohol can not be sold on the premises.

What time must festivities end?

Per Dodge County zoning requirements, festivities must end by midnight on Fridays and Saturdays.  On all other days of the week, including Sunday, parties are to conclude by 9 P.M.

When can I begin to set-up for my event?

Event hosts and their vendors are allowed to arrive anytime 10 A.M. or after on the day of their event to begin set-up.  (If you need accommodations, just ask!  Additional rental time can be added.)

Are we able to have a rehearsal at The Bowery?

Absolutely!  Unless an event is not booked on the day prior to your event, we designate Thursday afternoons for rehearsal time.  Event hosts will have an hour to utilize the grounds for such as part of their rental.  Time slots are reserved on a first-come, first-serve basis.  At the time of your event date booking, you will be able to reserve your rehearsal time.

Can vehicles be left overnight in the parking lot?

Vehicles parked in the lot for an event must be removed no later than 9 AM the day following the event.
