Can you hold my date?
Unfortunately, due to the popularity of certain dates and number of date requests, we are unable to "HOLD" your date. To book your date, a contract must be signed and half down deposit received.
Dates are booked on a first-come, first-served basis.
Can I use my own vendors?
Why, certainly! The Bowery welcomes event hosts to contract vendors they wish to use. However, The Bowery has a full list of fantastic vendors on our PREFERRED VENDORS page. Event hosts may find that these vendors offer discounts or special incentives for booking with them. They are also familiar with our venue and know all the ins and outs of our facility to best cater to event hosts.
What other fees can I anticipate with the rental?
We believe that pricing should be straight-forward. Weddings are expensive enough! That's why you won't find any hidden fees with your rental. What you see is what you get - no nonsense pricing...and indoor restrooms, heating/air-conditioning, and on-site parking come standard! (No port-a-potties here!)
Unlike many venues, we do not pass on up-charges for caterers - that's right. No 12-18% add-on fees here. We have a few additional services that are provided à la carte for the convenience of our guests (event take-down service, additional lighting, camp fire), but they are completely optional.
Are you state licensed? Yes, The Bowery has all state and local licenses & permits to operate as an event venue which means event guests are safe at our venue and we are legally able to operate. We are also fully wheelchair accessible.
